The Adams Building, originally called the Mincks-Adams Hotel, was built in 1927 by oilman Ike Mincks. It was converted into an office complex in the early 1980s.
The initial floor of the building lately housed Casa Laredo dining establishment for a number of years. The building was vacant when it was purchased by Rose Rock Development Partners from neighborhood designer Stuart Rate in December 2017.

"This is fun time for people living downtown, and I think this Adams Building is an excellent possibility for people that might not have been able to afford to live midtown in the past to otherwise have accessibility to budget friendly living."
The task is utilizing federal and state historical renovation tax obligation credit histories along with a $500,000 low-interest financing from the Tulsa Growth Authority in an effort to develop affordable real estate midtown.
" Once this task is completed, the building will be as stunning on the inside as it is on the outside, and also I assume this is a fantastic win for midtown and also these financiers," Neal claimed.
The project's programmer is Rose Rock, a full-service property advancement company with offices in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Work is being done by Arrowhead Builders.
Building and construction is expected to be total by following summer.
" This generation of Tulsans is taking what we inherited as well as purposefully building the city we want it to be, not wishing we acquired a great city to leave future generations," Bynum said.
